I get sick of the same story being broadcasted over and over again. The news seems to continuously focus on politicians discussing the safety and justification for U.S.A. beef import. As the government insist,  would cheap good and safe U.S.A. beef be able to be placed on our dinner table? We must express our concerns without political bias. We should stay neutral and realistic.
As the first reason why we are against on importing U.S.A. beef, we can think about the economical side effect. As the Agreement of re-importing U.S.A. beef is signed, our entire domestic animals industry is suffering from fatigue. In addition to the decline of Korean beef, price of pork is also dropped and the income of domestic animal  farmers are sharply declining.
As the second reason, there is the problem on the beef itself of which we are trying to import. Ninety five percent of Americans only eat beef from young cows which is less than 20 months old and the remaining five percent of Americans eat beef from less than 30 months old cow only.
As I stated earlier, for the future of domestic animals industry, for the health of my family members and myself, I think importing the U.S.A. beef should not be permitted. Further, the Lee, Myoung Bak government's policy or activities, which doesn't or never  pay any attention to the  voice of people in making big decision like this of which the people's agreement should be considered as the first priority, should be repented and changed immediately.
