In exactly two days from now, the third installment of China E-Sport Games (CEG) will be kicking off in Xi’An. Encompassing eight different disciplines like Warcraft 3, Counter-Strike 1.6 (Male and Female category – Yes, drivel more), Starcraft and more, this event is set to be a blast.

The Low Down: ReMinD has obviously performed below expectations in the previous tournament, GGL DigitalLife, which was held in Chengdu, China. With losses to Lyc and Moon, this could possibly prove his weakest matchup.

WOW Factor: He’s emphatically consistent – both online and offline. In fact, I would actually consider him as one of the top contenders of this tournament despite his poor showing in GGL Digital Life.

Jae Ho “MYM]Moon” Jang

The Low Down: While many may find him unstoppable, Moon was given a good whipping by Lyc in the first round of  the PPSteam tournament, where he lost with a score of 0 to 3. However, online tournaments have their discommodities as well.

Dae Hee “BeT.FoV” Cho

The Low Down: FoV’s only weak point is probably the Undead vs Orc matchup, which many regard the latter to have a favorable advantage over undeads. Fortunately for him, no stellar orcs will be attending this tournament apart from mouz.Fly100% or wNv.xiaOt – who are very much capable of taking down the Korean undeads.

기밀정보: FoV의 유일한 약점은 아마 많은이들이 후자가 언데드에 맞서 유리한점을 가진 Undead vs Orc 매치업이다. 그에게 다행히도 어떤 일류오크들은 한국 언데드들을 격침시킬수있는 매우 많은 영량이 있는 mouz.Fly100% 나 wNv.xiaot를 별문제로하고 이 토너먼트에 참석하지 안을것이다.

WOW Factor: Consistency. FoV has always been clinching admirable placings in every tournament he attends, and this will be no different. His Undead vs Night Elf matchup is exceptionally entertaining to watch as well.

Hot Gossip: Sources have said that FoV has refused going to the clubs in Beijing. Instead, he prefers to channel his time and energy into practicing for the upcoming competition.

The Low Down: Check has never achieved more than a respectable finishing in any major event in China. He is inconsistent, and might lose to young amateur partaking in this tournament.

기밀정보: Check는 중국에 어떤 메이져 이벤트에서 훌륭하게 마치는것이상 결코 이루어지지안는다. 그는 모순됐다. 그리고 이 토너먼트에서 참가하는 어린 아마추어 질지 모른다.

WOW Factor: Despite the myriad of criticisms hurled on public forums about his inconsistency, Check has been in excellent shape as of late, defeating big names in WC3L such as Sky, Grubby and HoT.

Hot Gossip: Yet another player that has been practicing really hard for this event. Living together with the other BeT players will definitely bolster up his chances for top 3.

Jung Ki “MYM]Susiria” Oh

The Low Down: Similar to most undead players, Susira’s weakest matchup is Undead vs Orc. While some may believe that his aggressive style is nifty against orc players, others feel that it is usually counter-productive in many ways.

기밀정보: 대부분 언데드 선수들과 비슷하게 Susiria의 약한 매치업은 Undead vs Orc이다. 어떤이는 그의 적극적인 스타일이 오크선수들에 맞서 멋지다고 믿을지도 모르는 반면, 다른이들은 그것은 항상 여러가지면에서 역효과이다고 느낄것이다.

WOW Factor: The MYM captain has proven to be a staple player for the team for years. Susiria is currently undefeated in this season of WC3L, where he has played 6 out of 6 clan wars, taking down players like mouz.Fly100%, Infi and RotterDaM.

Verdict: Susiria can go far in this tournament provided he doesn’t meet any stellar orc players. His Undead vs Human matchup is commendable as well, though it is also very likely that he might be eliminated by one.
