Chen Long "Sai" Zhou left everyone in utter awe when he was crowned as the champion of Wuhan's China E-Sports Games stop. The Chinese night elf player had already sprung an amazing surprise by finishing on top in the groupstage, defeating the Korean superstar, ReMinD and his rival from World Elite, LiKe.

Wuhan의 China E-Sports Games stop의 챔피언으로써 왕위에 앉히었을때  Chen Long "Sai" Zhou는 모든이들에게 완전한 위압을 남겼다. 중국 나이트 엘프 선수는 한국인 슈퍼스타 ReMinD와 World Elite출신의 그의 라이벌 Like를 패배시킨 그룹 스테이지에서 정상으로 마침으로써 이미 굉장히 놀랍게 뛰어 올랐다.

However, many were still sceptic of the 19 year-old as the groupstages were played in a best-of-1 format. In addition, Sai had a rather easy bracket in the elimination stage, which paved the way easily for him to the Grand Finals where he had to face his ex-team mate, FoV.

하지만 많은이들은 그룹스테이지가 단판제형식으로 진행되어졌기떄문에 여전히 19살에 회의적이였다. 추가적으로 Sai는 그의 이전의 팀동료 FoV와 대면해야만하는 GrandFinal로 쉬운길로 포장되어진 elimination stage에서 약간 쉬운 버켓을 가졌다.

"When FoV was in wNv, I usually lost almost every game against him in practice matches," said Sai. "But now that I defeated him in the Grand Finals, it kinda feels like a really sweet revenge."

"FoV가 wNv에 있었을때 나는 항상 연습 경기에서 그에게 맞선 거의 모든 게임을 졌다."고 Sai는 말했다. "하지만 이제 내가 Grand Finals에서 그를 패배시켰다는것, 그것은 정말 즐거운 복수같은 종류를 느끼게한다."

Throughout the entire interview session, Sai remained rather unruffled and modest through his answers. He attributes his victory at Wuhan mainly to luck. "I thought the entire event was not bad for me actually, and I was pretty lucky," he admits.

전체 인터뷰 부분을 통해 Sai는 그의 답들을 통해 약간 조용함과 겸손함을 남겼다. 그는 Wuhan에서 그의 승리를 운으로 덕분으로 돌렸다. "나는 전체 이벤트가 실제 내게 나쁘지 안았고 나는 매우 운이좋았었다고 생각한다."고 그는 인정했다.


In the first match of the Grand Finals against FoV on Terenas Stand, Sai opted out for a Warden + Pandaren Brewmaster combo. "FoV could've beaten me easily if he kept producing ghouls, but he chose to play safe and went for tier2 units," he reveals. "So I took this chance and protected my expansion successfully with two Acient of Protections. And with the expansion, I managed to win the game!"

Terenas Stand에 FoV에 맞선 Grand Final의 첫 경기에서 Sai는 워든 + 판다렌 브로마스터 컴보를 선택했다. "FoV는 그가 굴생산하는것을 계속한다면 네게 쉽게 패배 할 수 있었다.하지만 그는 안전하게 경기하는것을 선택했고 2단계 유닛으로 갔다."고 그는 밝힌다. "그래서 나는 이 기회를 가졌고 2개의 에이션트오브프로택터와 함께 나의 확장을 성공적으로 지켰다. 그리고 확장과 함께 나는 그 게임에서 승리해냈다!"



The second map was Twisted Meadows, and Sai felt that he was totally outplayed in every aspect of the game.

두번째맵은 Twisted Meadows였고 Sai는 그가 전체적으로 게임의 모든 양상에서 패배했다고 느꼈다.

However, the most mouthwatering game was the third map on Echo Isles, where Sai had played exceptionally well throughout the entire game. He hid his expansion in a corner, where FoV was a little too unscrupulous and did not manage to see it even though he scouted for it.

하지만 거의 군침도는 게임은 Sai가 전체 게임을 통해 예외적으로 잘 경기했던 Echo Isles 새번째맵이였다. 그는 구석에 그의 확장을 숨겼다.FoV는 너무나 사악함이 적었고 그가 그것에대해 정찰했는데도 그것을 보는것을 못해냈다.

"I should have attacked when I had dryads, but instead I went to creep the mercenary camp to get more skeletons. That was when I started to lose my disadvantage," said Sai as he tried to reminisce.

"나는 내가 드라이어드를 가졌을때 공격하는것을 해야했다. 그러나 대신 나는 더만은 해골을 갖기위해 용병캠프에서 크립을잡으러갔다. 저것은 내가 나의 불이익을 잃기 시작했을때 였다."라고 그가 추억에 잠기며 Sai는 말했다.  

"But his advantage started to fade away when he attacked my base and I dispelled my wisps on his DK. That made him to lose mana."

"하지만 그의 이점은 그가 나의 베이스를 공격하면서 사라져버리기 시작했고 나는 그의 데스나이트에 나의 위습으로 디스펠했다. 저것은 그에게 마나를 줄이게 만들었다."

"I destroyed FoV's expansion twice. After taking down his expansion, I could smell victory coming to me."

"나는 FoV의 확장을 두번 파괴했다. 그의 확장을 파괴한후 나는 나게 다가오는 승리를 냄새 맡을 수 있었다."

However, the new CEG champion mentioned that he tried to remain calm and play his game instead of being complacent. "I just wanted to keep steady and win the game slowly." he mentioned.

그러나 새 CEG 챔피언은 그가 진정하고 자만하게되는 대신에 그의 게임을 경기하도록 노력했다고 언급했다."나는 단지 안정되게 유지하고 천천히 게임을 이기기를 원했다."고 그는 언급했다.

Just like any other filial child, Sai will spend most of his prize money buying clothes for his younger sister and parents; only a small portion will be used for himself.

어떤 다른 세대의 아이처럼  Sai는 그의 어린 여동생과 부모님들에게 옷을 사기는데 그의 상금의 대부분을 사용할것이다; 오직 작은 일부분은 그스스로를 위해 사용되어진다.

"At first, my family was against my decision to become a pro-gamer, but since it was me who decided to become one, they have became very supportive eventually. And when I told them that I was the overall winner, they asked me to keep going."

"우선 나의 가족은 프로게임어가 되기위한 나의 결심에 맞섰다. 하지만 1등이 되기로 결심한 나였던이래 그들은 결국 매우 지원적이되었다. 그리고 내가 종합적인 우승자였다고 그들에게 말했을때 그들은 가던것을 계솓하라고 내게 요구했다."

Sai's next tournament will be the offline finals of G-League, which will be taking place in the space of the next 4 days, from 1st to 4th of September in Shanghai. Will the Guangdong state native rise as a dark horse again?
